Memorial service for Echo Adelle (Petrie) McKenzie, 44, will be at 7 p.m. Dec. 28, 1999 at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church in Spokane. Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home.

     Mrs. McKenzie, who was born in Spokane, died Nov. 20, 1999. She graduated from Mead High School and worked for the Spokane Water Department before marrying John McKenzie in 1975. They later moved to Phoenix. Mrs. McKenzie worked as a bookkeeper and an accountant. Eleven years ago they moved to Lewisville, where she was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Roman Catholic Church.
    Survivors include her husband, John McKenzie; a daughter, Nancy Bradley, and a son, Ronald McKenzie, both of Lewisville; her mother, Ramona Petrie of Spokane; a sister, Patricia Busby, and two brothers, Guy and Robin Petrie, all of Spokane; her grandparents, Robert and Gladys Petrie of Spokane; and three grandchildren.

     Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.

Echo and I met in six grade at Colbert Elementary. The time we spent together, she would tell me stories and make me laugh every time. RIP Echo. You have touched many lives in your short time of life.
