VASQUEZ, ''Tim'' Steve August 9, 1954 - February 24, 2009

Tim was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was a great athlete playing football and baseball. Tim graduated High School from Mead High School in Spokane WA, and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Tim was proud to serve his country. After returning home from the service, Tim graduated college and worked as an electrician the rest of his adult life. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He loved to hunt, fish and ride his motorcycles. He was a devoted Chevrolet man. Tim came to rest at Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, WA at age 54 with his family and friends by his side. He is survived by his mother Olivia Cooper; sisters Elizabeth Vasquez, Janell Rivera and her husband Bill; brothers David Vasquez, Terry Vasquez and his wife Rosa and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on March 7, 2009 at 1:00 pm at the Shadle Park Presbyterian Church, 5508 N. Alberta St, Spokane, WA.
His family requests flowers not be purchased, rather any memorial contributions be made to your favorite charity in Tim's name. That is what he would have wanted, to give rather than receive.
