Lee ‘Leroy’ Allen Johnson, 42, a lifelong Spokane resident, died Thursday, August 28, 1997, in Multnomah County, Oregon.

Lee was born in Spokane, Washington on July 20, 1955, to Martin Nels and Margery Viola (Makey) Johnson. He was a Mead High School graduate. Lee worked as a truck driver for Midwest Motor Express.

Survivors include a sister, Malee Johnson of Spokane, and his foster mother, Cindy Smith.

A service for Lee is set for 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 4, 1997, at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
