WHIPPLE, Jana Lee [Hodgen](Age 59) A lifetime resident of Spokane, WA, Jana went to join her son Michael Jr. and other loved ones Saturday, August 16th, 2014 in Heaven. She will be missed by her family very much. She was born July 28, 1955 in Spokane to Dolorus Ann Kolb and the late Royce LaVern Hodgen.
She graduated from Mead H.S. in 1973 and resided in Spokane to her final breath. Jana absolutely loved sports. Go 49ers, Mariners, Seahawks and Giants!
Jana is survived by her two children; Brisa Turner and Laura Whipple-Masingale both of Spokane, WA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two sisters, Pam Gutierrez of San Francisco, CA and Kelli Luther of Spokane, WA.
A memorial will take place where Jana's remains will be scattered at 1881 Nicholson Rd., Elk, WA on Saturday, September 6th at 1 pm. All who wish to attend are welcome.
