SCHAFFNER, Paul Emil..76, Of Ford, Washington passed away November 20, 2012 in Spokane. Paul was born March 18, 1936 in Deer Park, Washington. to Urban Stanford and Cora E. (Holee) Schaffner. He grew up in Ford, Stevens County, Washington. on the family homestead located on the Spokane Indian Reservation. He attended elementary school in the Ford School Building and later graduated from Springdale High School. Following high school, Paul was drafted into the United States Army where he was subsequently sent to serve in the Korean War. Paul taught German and English at the Mead High School. 

      A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 26, at the Springdale Community Church. Burial will follow at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Ford, Washington. A reception will be held at the Ford Senior Center after the burial.
